Description
The Rometa plant for concrete cable ducts and covers produces high-tolerance pieces for high-speed rail catenary systems. The vibrocompression process ensures high-density, low-permeability concrete meeting the strict technical requirements of the rail sector.
Other types of reinforced parts can also be produced in the same facility, with demoulding delayed until the piece is dry.
Pieces with strict tolerances are manufactured with delayed demoulding, which requires a large number of circulating moulds. The process consists of filling, automatic circulation of the moulds to the drying area, natural or steam drying, delayed demoulding, cleaning and greasing of the moulds, and repeating the cycle. It can be more or less automated depending on the client's budget.
