Description

The Rometa colour dosing unit automatically weighs and doses concrete pigments in automatic production plants. Each colour is stored in its own hopper, and the system delivers the exact dose to the aggregate line for every batch.

How it works: the operator sets the dose for each colour from the plant control cabin. The weighing cart travels under each colour hopper, where the electromagnetic feeder discharges pigment until the load cells register the set weight. Once dosing is complete, the cart moves to the aggregate belt or skip and discharges the pigment there, so it reaches the mixer together with the aggregates.

Frequently asked questions about this model

How does the Rometa colour dosing unit work?
The operator sets the dose for each colour from the plant control cabin. A 50-litre weighing cart with three load cells travels under each pigment hopper and receives the set quantity through an electromagnetic feeder. When dosing is complete, it moves to the aggregate belt or skip and discharges the pigment there.
How many colours can it dose and what is its capacity?
It is supplied in sets of one, two, three or four colours, with an airtight 0.5 m³ hopper for each pigment. Weighing is done in a 50-litre cart fitted with three load cells.
How does the colour dosing unit prevent pigment dust?
The hoppers are airtight, the electromagnetic feeder discharges through an enclosed chute, and the 80 × 80 mm outlet has a pneumatic closure that keeps it shut while the unit is idle.
