The Middle East and North Africa is seeing sustained growth in housing and infrastructure construction, driving the shift from artisanal block-making methods to industrialised concrete precast production lines. Algeria and Morocco account for much of this demand in North Africa, while in the Gulf states (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman) large-scale housing programmes and the need to shorten construction timelines are favouring automated block production.

High regional temperatures affect concrete setting and curing, requiring equipment and processes adapted to hot climates. Logistics depend heavily on sea freight to Mediterranean or Gulf ports, with longer import lead times than in Europe. In some markets grid reliability is variable, making the energy efficiency of the machinery valuable.
